What we collect
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records basic technical information when you request a page:

- The referring page, if you arrived via a link
This is standard server logging. We use it to keep the site working, diagnose errors, and protect against automated abuse.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to make the site function — remembering your cookie choice, and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery. These are set regardless of consent because the site cannot work without them.

Information you give us
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you submit. We use this solely to reply to you. We do not add contact-form senders to any marketing list.

How long we keep data
Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and diagnostics, then deleted. Contact-form messages are kept while we handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Cookie lifetimes are described in our cookie policy.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
We link to external sites — veterinary organisations, insurers, and research. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Please read their policies before providing information.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site and any data it handles, including serving all pages over HTTPS. No website can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep risk low.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
